The following information is current as of March 21, 2009.
CCE will resume on March 22nd and 23rd. We will then be off the week of March 29th and 30th so everyone can attend the Lenten Mission. We are also off on April 6th and 7th for Holy Week. CCE will resume April 13th.
Sacrament Class UPDATE (Holy Communion):
PAST MAKEUP CLASSES FOR HOLY COMMUNION: For anyone who has missed either or both sessions in January or February, there will be a makeup class in the Family Life Center on Saturday, March 28th. The January session will be made up at 8 AM; the February session will be made up at 10 AM.
PAST MAKEUP CLASSES FOR RECONCILIATION: For anyone who has missed sessions from the fall and/or needs to have their child assessed for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, then email me using the web form provided (left column of this page) to schedule an appointment.
MASS REQUEST DATE/TIME: If you have not done so already, please submit your Mass request for First Holy Communion by calling the CCE office (281.494.2717) or emailing me using the web form provided (left column of this page).
FORMAL PORTRAITS by Alan Ross Photography will be available on May 16th and May 23rd from 1 to 2:30 PM. Please note that this is a different date and time as originally planned. Order forms can be downloaded click clicking on the DOWNLOADS link on the left.
DRESS CODE FOR HOLY COMMUNION: Boys should at least wear slacks with a collared shirt. A tie is preferred. Girls' dresses can be of any color, but must appropriately cover the shoulders and legs. Absolutely no strapless or spaghetti-strap dresses. Straps should be at least an inch wide. Sleeveless dresses are okay, but please try to also include a sweater or shawl to cover the shoulders. Gloves may be worn for the photos, but we request that the children do not wear gloves at Mass. Gloves, rosaries, and prayer books should be left with the parents during Mass, as they tend to be a distraction to the children.
CAMERA POLICY: Photographs are not permitted during Mass. The celebrant will be at the front of the church for photos after Mass.
